Don Caesar

Don Caesar has grown up with music all his life. The oldest son of the legendary artist Top Cat, Don Caesar grew up in a studio environment often being present when his father and colleagues made their hit songs. He quickly realised at a young age that he also had a love of music.

As he got older Don Caesar started to get into production with his father and Steve AK one of the musicians at Stone Wall Studio. Having watched great UK producers like Gussie P and Joe G produce hits Don Caesar was quick to grasp how to build beats and his first co productions with his dad were acclaimed to be one of the best tracks on the Most Sensational album and he even had one of his tracks signed by Universal who didn't know it was made by an 11 year old and built on Sony Playstation. Studying music production at Lewisham College, Don Caesar worked on projects with his college and friends often doing the productions and mcing himself.

As a dj Don Caesar has been the dj for 9 Lives, Congo Natty and for his Top Cat travelling all around the world as well as backing Top Cat many times in the UK.

After taking a break out of the music business for a while Don Caesar is back as a dj and producer but don't be surprised if you hear him spitting bars on a production or two and make sure you catch him live playing a set or backing Top Cat as you are in for a treat if you do.
