A young go-getter who always drooled with inspiration when listening to jazz, old soul and R&B, but really wanted to get into the 'music bizz' when he experienced his first house beats in Amsterdam's legendary club Paradiso at the tender age of 13.Since 14, he's been hooked on Ableton and Reason; his puberty was musically. In those years he found inspiration in modern heroes such as Gaiser, Stimming and kollektiv turmstrasse. Jamie Power builds his own bridge between the sugar-coated musical styles from his childhood and the rumbling 4-to-the-floor beats that really set him free as a teenager. Jamie Powes prefers to produce his tracks with a minimal whiff about them, yet they always contain that lovely old school flow that inspired him since his earliest memory.
