Biografie
Miss Monument (aka Sarah Monument) is an established UK based DJ, who has progressed rapidly up the ranks after purchasing her first decks in 2005 and cutting her talent on pirate radio. She has worked her way up from the London underground scene to playing clubs and festivals around the world, taking her unique blend of bass driven dance music to an international level.
Having played in all corners of the globe, from Colombia to China, Thailand to Miami, and consistently playing at major UK festivals such as Glastonbury and Boomtown, Sarah has received recognition for her talent through nominations with Breakspoll International Breakbeat Awards as Best Breakthrough DJ, and regularly having her mixes nominated for Mix of the Year. She regularly guests on radio shows across London and promotes her own 'Broken' night, which has established itself over the past few years as a regular breakbeat event in London.
Miss Monument has become well known for her versatile sets and playlists, pushing her passion for pump bass driven dance floor beats, with an eclectic injection of all things bass, funky, ska, dub, jungle and techno. Basically this girl plays anything that makes her want to dance, whilst making sure everyone else is joining with her and having a fun at the party!
