Room 23 Music welcomes another outlet – Summer Affection, the place for jaunty summery anthems. And of course label boss Maureece gets to have the first word – in the guise of his collaboration with Dutch singer and musician Vangils, which has already spawned the Balearic banger “The Tides Will Turn” in 2018.
“Don’t You Ever Change” is a candid love song, based on a melody that Frank “Vangils” has composed as early as 1983 (!) but only picked up now to develop it into a full song with the help of Maureece and his background in producing electronic dance music. Building upon 80s sounds, integrating some 90s trance dance, the result is a timeless declaration of affection with a purely enjoyable summer vibe!
