Dance in frankrijk

Hey mensen,

Ik vroeg me af of dance een beetje leeft in mijn favoriete vakantieland, frankrijk :) !

En met dance bedoel ik een beetje trance-feesten zoals Sensation en techno/electro zoals je dat op Nature One hoord.

Weet iemand hier iets van ? Zijn er in frankrijk dance festivals zoals wij die hier kennen ? Ben benieuwd.

There are no more festivals as you have in Holland. The rave scene really sucks now. The only big festival you can find are free party festivals, pretty much hardcore, but to me it's shit. No happy people there, nothing to do with Holland. You've better to go to a club, look for the dj's playing, and it depends where you come on holidays.

but there is kind of a rave scene in france ? A small scene I guess ? Should a big dance festival work in france i'm wondering ?
Techno is going down, it was pretty big a few years ago, but now it's basicly only in clubs or the free partys which as nothing to do with dutch festivals. The "kind of rave scene" is manly this free partys, sometimes there are what we used to called a rave, but the people going there suck, only for the drugs, they dont know nothing about the music, they dont dance much either.
Honestly, it's much better in clubs...
We used to have partys in abbey, warehouse, castles and many other nice places, between 200 and 3000 people usualy, but it's over now. The authorities didn't like it at all, they always pissed off partys promoters and bit by bit they gave up.
You ask if a big dance festival would work? Maybe if you put commercial shitty music that the poeple knows from Tv and radio and if you put a lot of r&b, rap, raggae because people are listening much more this kind of music now... But you wont see me at your festival then!

I often come to holland,for over ten years now, i used to party a lot there, so i know a little bit the scene. One day i was looking for a good dutch party agenda on internet and i found partyflock which is a fucking great site!
