Heb vrij gekregen dus eh: aanwezig
De lichtshow belooft ook weer spectaculair te worden volgens de mayday website!
Thus spake Digger, “Let there be light!”
Listen people, for this time rays of Light Emitting Diodes will grace the Mayday floor with an unparalleled transcendence. This will mystify the crowd and inspire them to holler, “I am, you are, we are Mayday.” What we offer is the new LED technology. The light channels can be dynamically controlled. Here’s the news for you:
Cree has announced the manufacture of a proprietary LED range. So far Cree only supplied LED chips (UV, blue, green), which are used, among others, by Osram OS. You can see the first specimens of 1W SMD LED from the X Lamp product range at Mayday, mass production will start in summer 2004. Waldmann Lichttechnik presents their LED protected light pipes. As they come with integrated transformation these IP67 lights can run with regular voltage. These are especially viable for impressive lighting of buildings.
However, these LED lights are not quite all that Mayday will offer, in addition we’ll dash out the finest of technology:
-100 vari*lites
-24 high performance stroboscopes
-4 optical laser banks, 2 coherent ion lasers and 2 diode pumped solid state lasers
-400 conventional spotlights
-live stage lighting with 160 neon lamps
-more than 300 metres of traverse on 48 computer-controlled engines
-total weight of light system approx. 15 tons, mist fluid consumption approx 500 litres
-some 4,000 parameters to be controlled for the whole light installation
