Maar die keeper beweert dat ie hem niet heeft aangeraakt.....
Aston Villa keeper Peter Enckelman has insisted his amazing blunder against Birmingham should not have cost his side a goal in their 3-0 derby defeat at St Andrews.
Enckelman allowed the ball to go under his feet from Olaf Mellberg's throw-in, but insists he did not touch it, so the crucial second goal should not have stood.
"I honsetly don't think it touched my boot," he told Sky Sports News. "Obviously it should be a corner, it shouldn't be a goal. As far as I am concerned I just looked up too soon and missed the ball completely.
"I made a blunder, that is it, I made a mistake. Whatever the referee decides, is up to him. But it shouldn't have been a goal."
A number of Birmingham fans ran on to the pitch and taunted the Villa keeper, but the Finn is phlegmatic about the incident.
"One of them slapped me, which is unfortunate," he said. "But I have to keep my cool and allow the police and stewards to deal with it. There is nothing I can do about that."
Enckelman also apologised to the Villa fans, but insisted the incident would not leave a permanent dent in his confidence.
"Personally I apologise to the fans for my mistake," he added. "But now we have got to get on with things and concentrate on climbing up the table.
"You never want to make a mistake like that, and this is the last game you want to make it in - a big derby game. But it's gone already.
"I'm already looking forward to the next training session, the next game, so it's not a problem for me."
