To our dedicated Hardcore family,
First of all, thank you for waiting. We know that you have all been very eagerly awaiting our 2018 announcement. We are now prepared to tell you that there is good news and bad news to report. The bad news is that unfortunately, Hardshock Festival 2018 will NOT be happening this year. The good news is, that Hardshock Festival 2019 is now in full planning mode. Let us explain.
We at Hardshock Festival would like you to know that this decision had nothing to do with us. We sadly had no say in this. The cancellation is due to various political decisions and a municipality that has indicated that there is no future for Hardshock Festival at Almere Strand.
We promise you, that we did everything in our power to fight this and we have officially exhausted every effort to allow Hardshock Festival 2018 to go ahead. That's why you all had to wait so long for a response, we truly tried everything. After all we have done to try and move this forward, we are forced to conclude that it really is not possible this year.
Just because Hardshock Festival will not be going ahead in 2018, does not mean that we are sitting still, on the contrary! We are working with all of the manpower that we possess on a brand new edition for 2019, we can now make that promise to everyone who holds Hardshock Festival close to their heart. Our back may be against the wall now, but nothing will stop us! We will come back STRONGER and HARDER than ever in 2019!
