I heard a good mix from a Hard Bass event 2011 some days ago, and the Mc ruined all the music. So is it normal, that MCs are talking a lot in this event?
Yeah, some do as compensation for the fact that they failed miserably as dj's themselves. ;p
Luckily you're far from the only one who's got issues with that, so there should be lots of (party-)peeps here that can help you by dropping some names so you know who to avoid in the future. (Y)
I'm not really up to date on harder styles so unfortunately I can't help you.
 
Evil Activities is an example: He takes E-Life with him. A pitty, because he can mix very well.
My experience is, that there is MC talking more depending on the event than on the DJ.
