The most important economic issue might not be European or American markets, but the civil war brewing between Sunni and Shi'ite factions in the Middle East:

I think current Syrian situation is more critical than Saudi Arabian ones. Russia and China have some interests in Syria.

I think Russia and China will step in to defend Assad if the Syrian government nears collapse. Recall that Russia was once at war with Turkey. Russia is also now performing land assault drills with jets, warships and infantry in Kaliningrad. China also performing beach landing drills and Chinese warships have passed through Suez canal. The Saudi regime is at risk if the Sunni rebels lose, which is why America is supporting them.

Not only will defend Assad but also will defend the entire country, especially Russia, who has a naval base in Tartus.
Russia will not allow Lybian scenario in Syria repeated.

That is interesting.

So, Israel is getting our grand 'ole USA to do their "dirty work", and we are then in-turn trying to pawn that very same "dirty work" off onto the Europeans... Such a vicious cycle...

I don't think so, except if this attack should be the most powerful terror attack of history, like 9/11 or something like that.

I have a feeling all of this regional conflict is going to backfire on Saudi Arabia. If the Syrian govt falls or comes close to falling, Iran will get involved and it will just become a huge mess.

It seems that with every passing day the world is becoming a more dangerous place. There are new active fronts everywhere, so World War III could be closer than we think .
