Its the harders styles trying to come in the ADE as they do have a good market share in the dance market, especially in Holland where most of their parties sold out.
I think its nice and I think they should have 1-2 dance events in the ADE for their crowd but no more as its not what the ADE is about.
There's nothing ''bad'' about the share in the market dance market in holland. It's not comparable, harder styles is a totally different market with different customers. It is a smaller market than the overall dance market yes, but it's not some sort of a ''bad'' share of it. Parties organised by companies that attend HDE today, offer NONE of the music genres that companies attending ADE offer. Well, perhaps in the techno part, but this is only a minor part of the HDE companies's related business. And the other way around, companies attending ADE are barely interested in organising harder styles events.
When there ever is a harder dance genre present on a ''ADE'' related company's event, then it's hosted by an outside company:
Mysteryland, Tomorrowland <> Qdance
Dance Valley <> Dutch Master Works
etc.
So, it's a totally different market. The reason they are in the same week is probably because it is autumn break in the zone of Amsterdam this week. And yes, ofcource they're somewhat related.
Secondly, HDE isn't about giving partys this week. It's simply a conference in the ID&T / Q-dance office by and for professionals in the hard dance industry. No parties for open public, just pro talk
Atleast, that's what I understood of it.
