Het is bijna zover: drie dagen vol zon, sfeer en muziek staan te wachten op een idyllische groene locatie, op slechts een steenworp afstand van Brussel. De achtste editie van Paradise City Festival wordt de grootste en meest ambitieuze tot dusver, en als groenste muziekfestival van België evalueert en deelt het elk jaar nauwkeurig zijn energie-, afval- en watergegevens. Nu we de laatste weken voor de aanvang zijn ingegaan, presenteert het Paradise City team met trots de plannen om het festival duurzamer te maken - en mobiliteit speelt een cruciale rol in die ambitie.

Terwijl grijze wolken heersen over de Belgische hemel, wordt het wachten op een warme zomer vol muziek steeds verleidelijker. Paradise City Festival, gevestigd in een prachtige kasteeltuin aan het water nabij Brussel, staat bekend om haar professionele organisatie, indrukwekkende podia en eersteklas licht- en geluidsproducties.
Paradise City Festival kondigt de eerste namen aan

De zomer komt dichterbij, alsook de achtste editie van Paradise City. Naast de haast legendarische dansvloer energie, is het elektronische muziekfestival beroemd om zijn prachtige groene locatie aan het water, professionele organisatie, indrukwekkende podia, en uitstekende licht en geluid producties. In afwachting van het feest heeft het Paradise City team nu de eerste namen van de indrukwekkende affiche bekend gemaakt.
Als een festival dat er altijd een prioriteit van heeft gemaakt om zijn ecologische voetafdruk zo laag mogelijk te houden, deelt Paradise City Festival met trots de feiten en cijfers (zowel de goede als de slechte) van zijn duurzaamheidsacties. Hoewel er nog veel ruimte is voor verbetering, wil het event zijn bevindingen openbaar maken, zodat andere organisatoren er ook van kunnen leren. Op die manier draagt Paradise City niet alleen bij tot het verlagen van zijn eigen ecologische voetafdruk, maar ook die van de hele festivalindustrie. De organisatie zal alle CO2-berekeningen, de AGF-audits, de successen en de mislukkingen openbaar maken, wat veel meer inzicht zal geven in hoe we onze evenementenscene duurzamer kunnen maken.
