ADE 2019 // Sounds of BlacknessThe Sounds of Blackness (SOB) is now in it’s 8th year & always a high point for ADE weekend.
Inspired by the Frankie Knuckles NYC residency at the Sound Factory Bar & Frankie’s brilliant remix of “The Pressure” by Sounds of Blackness circa 1996, Elliott Matos and Benjamin Aillery have nurtured this very BLACK SOULFUL HOUSE idea into a night dedicated to the Underground BLACK House and Techno music sounds that often originated in the gay cellar bars & the dancefloors of New York mixed with Black, Latino, White and all the colours that came to be the vanguard of the club culture on dance floors that we experience today.
