It’s time for the very first SnipSnap Invites! We invited two DJ’s who can look back on over 50 years of international experience. With The Darkraver and DJ Jean this first edition will be one we’re not going to forget any time soon!
Steve “The Darkraver” Sweet started his career in 1988 in a little club at the Dutch seaside resort Scheveningen. After 27 years he played on the biggest festival and hottest clubs with: A Nightmare in Rotterdam, Thunderdome, Defqon & Mysteryland just to name a few. As a producer Steve has definitely earned his tracks. Releases such as “One fucked up” (Dance international), “Direction of Fear E.P.” (Combined Forces) and the #1 charted “Komt ie dan Hé” made him the legend he is today.
With amiable women, plenty of alcohol and a seamless mixing technique Steve will bring total chaos to Club Hemingway.

DJ Jean started his musical orbit in 1989 when he won the Dutch Mix & Scratch championship as a Hip Hop DJ. After he gained a residency spot in the renowned club IT his career really took off. As Jan Engelaar travelled from Berlin to Ibiza and Paris to Tel Aviv he became one of the best known club DJ’s in the world. As a producer DJ Jean has also proven himself with big releases with the likes of `Flair´, ´I Give My Life´ and ´Let Yourself Go´ halfway in the 90´s and his international hit ´The Launch´at the end of the nineties.
With two DJ´s who helped shape the club scene as we know it today this night is going to be legendary. Classics, House, Early Hardcore, and much more of that good stuff at Club Hemingway with SnipSnap Invites.
