CULOE DE SONG // Innervisions //
Born in the northern parts of South Africa’s east coast, Culolethu Zulu, also known as “Culoe De Song”, hasn’t looked back after putting passion in the forefront of his life. He’s been living music ever since his talent, as a Dj & Producer was acknowledged not too long ago.
In 2009, Culoe De Song signed under Germany’s Innervisions, a family of acts such as Dixon, Ame, Henrik Schwarz… releasing tracks such as “The Bright Forest”, “Super Afro” & “African Subway”. Also, he is now working on a number of projects as part of his emerging international introduction, including the Reggie Dokes “ Let Me Go” EP released on Boddhi Satva’s Offering Recordings.
Culoe’s music has been described as “epic African house with a strange touch,” while he sums it up as “a dramatic vibration of ‘the drum’.” Culoe’s chords sky-write while his rhythms writhe, and more than any other SA house artist he’s managed to ‘successfully segue international and local sounds – mixing the best beats from both worlds.

KAPIBARA // Labyrinth music //
Their sounds, deephouse and techno, include influences of wildlife and needs at least one of four elements to make it Kapibara worthy. First, it must have a theme, a concept. They like to blend organic, natural sounds (described as ‘artisan’) with the eletronic. Second, feeling and emotion. This often comes with their melodic appeal, the third element. The last element which they find very important in their musical preference is that part in the drums that makes you move and keep on walking, the groove. In the studio they use the words ‘sauce’ and ‘spice’ for it. Kapibara consists of three members from the Netherlands, two of which are behind the decks.
- RENEE
She has an obsession for telling stories through radical cones of sound. Constantly defining the parameters within resources and time, she plots to unleash well-timed, dramatic and super-tense climaxes.
