►BIO'S◄
Madster
For fuck sake, we really enjoyed his previous Symbiose set. Madster brings a recognizable selection of hot as hell tunes – as a well-rounded DJ, he’s not afraid to deviate from comfort zones and set new norms. Madster’s productions are steadily leaving a notable mark on the Dutch scene. A seasoned DJ too, easily one of the best sets during Symbiose this year. The words written here wouldn’t be able to describe. Indeed, let’s do this again soon.
Lenny
Easily the most skill Drum & Bass DJ in Nijmegen, perhaps in the rest of the province too – Lenny keeps coming back for more in Breda, and each time it seems time fades and the atmosphere is soaked with electric energy. Known from co-hosting parties like Impact in Doornroosje, Lenny has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the scene.
Dawa
Known for starting DBC (Dutch Bass Community) and being a resident DJ at Kapot Skeer – Dawa seasoned through a lot of national gigs already, and soon is playing the ‘In The Dam’ 10 years anniversary weekender; basically sharing the stage with huge names like Friction, Hazard and Dillinja. His ‘action shots’ often show a mixture of a frantic and yet stoic stature – never fully seeming to lose his gaze nor intent from the decks and mixer. We gladly reintroduce him to you and your listening pleasures.
Nephilim
Nephilim strikes awe with his name; early Hebrew and Christian writings coined it as a way to describe fallen giants. Can more than his name alone raise mayhem? He did it before and he’s surely capable of doing it again. Nephilim finished Symbiose in style, and essentially crushed and twisted it into pieces of sweet joy and late night muscle cramps. It’s only natural to embrace his awaited return.
Operator 21
Operator 21 represents Leidsche Breakbeat Community during this night. A female touch behind the decks is a welcome change in vibes and pace. She already played at Symbiose before and has left a notable impression, thus we happily invite her back for another round and another time. Expect a variety of soundscapes and a lot of soul and depth throughout her mix.
Frizzle
A local audiophile and founder, DJ, and promotor at the once (in)famous ‘Je Moeder’ and ‘Step Right Dub’ parties. Frizzle strikes down in furiously channeled sound waves; at his disposal rests heavy, and dark hearted selecta, crossbreed operates as the locus – purposefully crafted for proper dancefloor swing.
Discharge
Combine a triage of local fanatics, with an ingrained passion for the dark arts of Drum & Bass – enter Discharge. The crew is sent on another mission and once again to this very same dancefloor. After their introduction during the previous Symbiose, they have proven their worth to do it again. Wouter, Camillo and Wouter represent the core of this local scene. Get ready for some mind bending Neurofunk, tied together with their very own fresh productions.
Creek
Creek is steadily making a name for himself in the local Drum & Bass and other genres. As a co-host of Symbiose and a propelling force in the decision making, his generically correct blends keep the locals welcoming him back. Either if it’s raging Neurofunk or lighthearted Liquid, enough soul and heartfelt passion is guaranteed.
Omega C
The seasoned veteran in harder EDM and rule bending culprit is back at it again. As the co-founder and current shots caller, Omega C is eager to reignite his crowd control abilities and to set the stage and speakers ablaze. The desire and how-to is being synthesized as you read this. Lights, camera and time for some shotgun-action.
