Opening night ADE 2013: Alex Kunnari presents Colors

Europe's leading dance event, ADE, is acknowledging Alex Kunnari as a major international EDM star on the rise, and hosting his Colors club on the opening night of this years event. Alex Kunnari presents Colors will take place at Amsterdam's club Panama on Wednesday 16.10.

With a history over 20 years in electronic dance music and several international dance hits under his belt Finland's leading EDM DJ Alex Kunnari made history on a summer 2012, as the first Finnish DJ to host his own night in Ibiza. Kunnari had already previously established himself as a huge name in Ibiza with over 200 performances on the club island, where he had rocked the crowds at the worlds greatest clubs on regular basis. He has performed at all of Ibiza's leading venues such as Amnesia, Eden, Es Paradis, Pacha, Space and in the season of 2008 he played at Privilige in front of over 10,000 clubbers when he was asked by Tiësto to play the opening set but for the last two summers he has really been taking the scene by a storm. Now for the last two summers his weekly 'Alex Kunnari presents Colors' events have become a new fresh event in Ibiza's night life, gathering thousands of EDM lovers together every Monday.

At the same time his productions like the latest 'City of Sin' (featuring the vocals of the multi-platinum selling Joel Madden of Good Charlotte fame) have gone supernova, becoming major hits on both dance floors and radio stations. He is still remembered for the incredible success he harvested with "Lifter" a hit that was hammered by Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk, Judge Jules and many others. Up to this day Alex delivers successful single after single. In 2011-2012 he released "New Life", "Helsinki", "Lost", "You & Me" (featuring Emma Lock) and "Music". And he shows no signs of slowing down, "Taste The Sun" and the recent "Sweet Melody" have set dance floors on fire all over the globe. He has also provided his golden touch as a remixer for some of the biggest names in dance music, such as Tiësto, Paul van Dyk and Chicane.

For ADE Alex was asked to come up with a new concept, and he decided to take the opportunity to honour his fellow Finnish colleagues and invite the country's top performers to Amsterdam with him. In addition to Alex himself the line up includes well known Finnish EDM stars like the platinum selling hit maker Darude and K-System, the man behind the super hit known as 'Samba 69'. They will be supported by some of the hottest young producers who have all recently been making a big impact on the international scene: Tom Fall who is signed on Armada and had a huge hit remixing Armin van Buuren's 'J'ai Envie de Toi', Maison & Dragen who are also signed by Armada and are becoming a major asset for the label releasing a hit after another, Heavyweight who's talent was recently recognized by none other than Laidback Luke who signed him on his label, and Joonas Hahmo who is widely thought to be one of the next cool EDM thing out of Northern Europe.
