Formed in 2002 to build high-quality sound and lighting systems for the late night entertainment industry TAG very quickly established itself as a major player within the market, gaining a reputation for award-winning extreme sound systems. They have worked on numerous projects and a natural progression to develop into the rental and installation markets.

Just two years later TAG had been responsible for installing their trademark premium sound system products to many top-flight venues; many of whom went on to win BEDA awards, such as Club of the North, Bar of the North, Night club of the Midlands, Bar of the Year and Night Club of the Year. In 2006, The Audio Group was named Installation Company of the year.

Since then TAG has continued to provide influential nightclubs, bars and large dance venues across the UK and Europe, with the very best in sound and lighting technology, including:

Today The Audio Group continues to lead the way; becoming the first UK based company to install Void Nexus 6 and Stasys x Air technologies into various venues, as well as being the first in the world to employ Void Tri motions as DJ Monitors.

More recently with shifts in the market installing the first Pioneer Pro Audio XY-3 System in Europe into the Lazy Lizard in Manchester and the first UK based company to have in rental stock.

As a rental house, we have one of the UKs largest Void Acoustics inventories, carrying the UK Mainland's only Nexus 6 system. We also have in stock Tri Motion, Air Motion, Airten, and Air Vantage, along with Nexus XL, Nexus Q and Stasys X Air sub options. Powersoft amplification is used to run all of our rentals and hire systems, including the latest additions to the speaker inventory in the form of the complete range of Pioneer Pro Audio XY series.

We also offer a full range of DJ equipment for hire to fulfil most event and festival riders, including the full Pioneer range of mixer controllers and players. We also carry all the usuals from Allen & Heath to Rane and everything in between, with the Denon Primes being the latest additions.

In our inventory we also have large stocks of IP rated outdoor screens along with moving heads, beams, spots and washes from all the major manufacturers including Chauvet, Martin Lighting, ADJ and Elation. Other recent additions include confetti in all options, CO2 jets and cannons from Dynamite Effects and Universal effects.
