Raveline readers have voted – Mayday 2011, Syndicate and Ruhr in Love also in the top ten.

First result in the 2011 super election year: Nature One is the "Best Event" for the tenth time in a row. 20,000 readers voted in the poll conducted by "Raveline", the largest magazine for electronic music. Mayday 2011, Syndicate and Ruhr-in-Love are in the top ten as well.

Nature One is the "Best Event 2010" and that means it has been voted the most popular festival every single year since 2001. 20,000 readers of Raveline (the leading magazine for electronic music in Germany) took part in the poll and voted Nature One by far the top event for the tenth time in succession. Four days, three nights: "go wild – freak out" is what it's all about this year on the Pydna missile base in the Hunsrück hills around Kastellaun, with 60,000 people expected from 5 to 7 August.

With Mayday 2011, (ranked 3rd), Syndicate (ranked 6th) and Ruhr in Love (ranked 8th), three other events organised by the Mülheim-Kärlich-based I-Motion agency are in the top ten of the poll. "2010 was a successful year, with all the events going off without a hitch. We saw around 200,000 enthusiastic fans converge on 13 events we staged in Germany and abroad. And in 2011 we're also sparing no effort to make sure the fans feel at home and have great fun," says I-Motion's Oliver Vordemvenne.

Mayday 2011, "Twenty Young" will be celebrating its twentieth anniversary in the halls of the Westfalenhallen in Dortmund on 30 April. The highlight will be an additional fifth floor showcasing the DJs of the first years, such as Marusha, Tanith, Ravers Nature and Hooligan.

Ruhr in Love, "the electronic family festival", is being held in Olgapark in Oberhausen on 25 June, and will see more than 300 DJs playing their sounds on over 30 open-air floors, with 40,000 visitors expected.

Dortmund's Westfalenhalle halls will be opening their doors to Syndicate for the tougher types of electronic music on 1 October. The "Ambassadors in harder styles" will be coming together for the fifth time and getting 15,000 ravers dancing to hard core, hard style and hard techno.
