*Ting* cut her teeth DJing at a variety of underground clubs and events in 1997 and gradually built up a following in both the Hard Dance and the Fetish scenes throughout London.
Having built up her name as a DJ at various clubs, she went on to play major gigs such as Glastonbury 1999, 2002 and 2003, Paris Techno Parade, Dragon Fest (Spain), Nukleuz Hard House Anthems Tour, Budapest Parade, Icebox (Sydney), Crossover (Tokyo), Surge (UK and AUS), Submaniac, Trancentral, Mass and Ministry of Sound, to name but a few. She has 6 current residencies and guests at clubs, festivals and raves around the world (see below)
She plays a canny combination of Hard Dance / Nu NRG right through the spectrum to much funkier breaks and uplifting beats or to the harder edges of Freeform. She strongly believes that it is vital to bring a warm, mesmeric vibe to her performances, and consequently brings love and life to the DJ booth and to the crowd around her. Her musical performance is definitely greater than the sum of the individual parts.
She is also a very successful event manager and promoter, organizing her own events and assisting others in theirs.
Tranceformation, 12th June 1999, consisted of 136 DJs, 10 live bands, 7 sound systems an Internet café, and plenty of stalls, food etc. pulled a crowd of more than 2,000 people and was boasted as "gig of the week" in the Independent newspaper.
P.L.U.R., 26th Feb 2000. *Ting* was the event manager and again she brought over 2,000 people to The Drome and raised over £5,000 for charity.
Ful-On Fest V, November 11th 2000. *Ting* was the room manager for the largest room, holding nearly 1,000 people, she also organized the sound systems and lights for the whole venue which brought a crowd capacity of over 2,000.
Cyberdance, January 26th 2003. *Ting* was room manager for the Cyberdog room and co-promoted the whole event with Fevah @ Heaven which drew a crowd in excess of 1,800 people.
Ultimately *Ting* likes to bring the feel of a festival to a club, both in her performance and promotions. She transcends the work of most other DJs through her energy and her unique mix n match musical vision which runs through everything she does like a stick of Brighton rock.
Torture Garden saw what *Ting* had to offer and decided to bring her on board as label manager - her first project was to license, organize and mix the Extreme Clubbing 4 CD release. Since then she has released quality 12" vinyl from hard-house legends such as K-Lab and Planet-K.
Cyberdog also recognised her talent and during her time here she organised album launches such as the Lab-4 'Virus' release, the Transient 'Translucent 5' in both London and Japan as well as the much acclaimed Nukleuz Hard House anthems 4 release all of which she played at.
The *Ting* is also working with www.elation-productions.com. Her first release 'Inna?Year' came out earlier this year and the second "What you don't know" is due for release in the near future.
Other projects include: www.aving.it and the first release "The Shadow" (co-written with Dj Orange Peel and Sunshine) came out in March 2003.
