Lovefield informatie

Lovefield is back again for another late summer weekend full of beats and sounds that’ll make the masses move. Tracing its roots to Trance and Goa parties, Lovefield has metamorphosisized into one of the hugest and most diverse electronic music festivals in Germany. After spending the last summers cutting its teeth in Stade, Lovefield is leaving the kiddy pool and heading for the Eichenring motorcycle speedway in Scheeßel. From August 27th- 29th, in the midst of field and forest, the Lovefield Festival 2004 will bring together premier local and international acts representing numerous genres of electronic music, like Faithless, 2Raumwohnung, Groove Amrmada, Interantional Pony, Moguai and London Elektricity (for full line up, see below). Weaving together club sounds and festival atmosphere, Lovefield remains an eclectic mix of bands, acts, djs, performances, art and theatre. And knowing when not to mess with a good thing, the festival organizers have concentrated on keeping the festival’s original easy-going atmosphere, despite its move to a larger location.

Location
Scheeßel is a small village located between the cities of Bremen, Hamburg and Hannover.

How the hell do I get there?
Use the Deutsche Bahn
Avoid traffic jams by using the train. The Scheeßel train station is only 1.5 km away from the festival area and camp site and is easy accessible by foot.

Driving Directions
From Hamburg take the A 1 towards Bremen / junction Sittensen to Scheeßel or take the B75 directly to Scheeßel.
From Bremen, take the the A 1 towards Hamburg / junction Stuckenborstel via Rotenburg (B 75) to Scheeßel.
From Hannover take the A 7 towards Hamburg / junction Soltau via Rotenburg (B 71) to Scheeßel.

Traffic jams: Getting there is half the fun?
You can avoid traffic jams by car pooling. Drive with your friends or with other people who want to enjoy the festival and have the same taste in music as you.

Check Points
Driving under the influence of alcohol and/ or narcotic substances is strictly prohibited in Germany and may lead to the loss of your driver's license. It is not uncommon for German police to set up roadside check points near festivals. Every driver should be prepared to face drug and alcohol tests on the way to and from the festival.

Camping
Numerous small camping spots separated by trees offer lots of good camping possibilities.

Want to camp together?
If so, your best bet is to meet up outside the festival area and arrive together. (Why not drive together?)

Parking and camping are situated in different areas which allows us to improve the location and number of sanitary facilities for you. Please bear in mind that you will have to carry your stuff from your car to the camping area. We are trying to keep the distance short.
