André Galluzzi was born in Frankfurt and raised in Wiesbaden. In 1990 he started DJing in clubs such as Parkcafé (Wiesbaden) and Dorian Gray (Frankfurt). Already in 1992 he played in Berlin's legendary clubs Bunker and Tresor. At the end of 1994 he joined the Neuton label where he became friends with Paul Brtschitsch, organizer of the famous Open Air Parties in Wiesbaden. Brtschitsch highly appreciated André's marathon performances and together they founded the Taksi label.
Sven Väth immediately selected their first record for his playlist. Nowadays Galluzzi is one of the larger German headliners and resident of Berghain in Berlin. In recent years he also released records under the labels of Cadenza, cocoon Recordings and Ostgut Ton.
The very own sound of André Galluzzi ranges from dark and spacy to the carefree casualness of house music, from minimal-pounding and trippy to fat beats. It's not about simple tracks but songs. You don't find dull drum-lines but real musical variety. André knows how to excite people!
