hi all,

just wondered whether afterpartys are known to dutch people ? i lived in germany for few years and have to say...ok the partys are really better there, you pay less for more and most of the partys there are open end :) Line ups are just a bomb and thats every weekend.

e.g. in germany people like to do private afterpartys @ home afterwards. I've never seen this here in the netherlands. (o.k maybe i live here in the wrong city AD where just tourists are).

so is that known to duch people ?

You probably just don't know the right crowd to hang with ;)

There are lots of afterparties at peoples homes :jaja: Just ask some people at the next party where you will be :)
In Amsterdam there are plenty of afterparties normally.
Don't know much about other cities, except for Utrecht in which they also have underground afterparties.

And about private afterparties; it's really simple.
A lot of people will face problems with their neighbours if they invite a lot of people over to their house. Especially if they will play loud music.
Within half an hour, a police car will arive at your house, and you'll risk a fine. No one wants that.

However, private afterparties where they do get to play loud music with dj's and all, are most of the time done by the same persons. So it isn't really something you can just bump in to as an outsider.
