Gertjan verbeek

What are your thoughts on the new Feyenoord coach coming over from SC Heerenveen? Given the fact that he took Heerenveen so high this year, what do you think he will be able to accomplish with the substantially larger Feyenoord power house he is now running? Will he take the team higher than Bert did?

I smell the UEFA cup in 09.

i think the rise of heereveen is mostly the achievement of foppe de haan and they are harvesting the efforts that he made

but that doesnt mean verbeek sucks .... but i thought it was a detail worth mentioning

ofcourse not! the whole team of feyenooit sucks, 6th place....
they maybe win from Roda with pulling t-shirts and tackles, but they still suck
I'd rather be the fan of a 6th (or even last) place Feyenoord, than the fan of a first place PSV, or a first place AJAX. This year we will be coming back strong. The beker is just the beginning.
