Where to live in England??

I'm thinking of going to work in England in aan Hospital voor a few months, maybe a year!
Where in England are the best parties, the nicest people and most of all is the best place to live for a while?

Who can help me out??

London is a big town...Lots of things to do..

And what about the other big cities??

Manchester, Leeds, York??

My first choice now is London but that's probably becauce I hear the most things about this city!

I can verify that ! Great city, with lots of great people, and many things to do/see.. ! Going out is one big party, lots of bars and partyplaces all over town.

Im off to Huddersfield in September 4 six months,
hope it gonna b worth while.

My whole familie lives in Gillingham/Rainham (Kent) area.

Also do-able if u ask me.

I wouldnt go to London, so bloody expensive its insane! My mother just moved close to Leeds and seems to like it there, I have to check it out soon.

Newcastle definitly great people great place(were not all shortarses lol)just avoid the "big market" house prices rental or buying are about the cheapest in the country because of how far north we are

Def Birmingham. Great shopping in the HUGE Bullring, with a massive Selfridges inside, and loads of other yummy shops, loads of great Restaurants serving all kinds of food, but if you like Indian food they do great Balti's here.

Clubbing is good also, lots of Bars and Clubs along Broad street, the people are very friendly, and its also nice on the outskirts of Birmingham, lovely big houses of which I could never afford, but its great to window shop

Hmmm I've been a few months to The Isle of Man,
Its quite different from the rest of England.. Its actually not even part of England but part of the British Isles.

I do think its a nice location though.. You're on an island where you can take ferries to Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, UK etc.. So if you also wanne see something..

And there's to be percisly 1 hospital.. which is quite close to Douglas the capital of the Isle of Man.

There no big parties in the dance scene etc. There are a few nightclubs in Douglas.

Anyways nice plan! Hope you find something which suits you.

The answer to your question depends on what sort of experience you're after, each city is different. London will be the easiest to work in as there are so many job opportunities and there is still a hardcore scene, but you gotta know where to look.

Let me know if you need any help, i've done it the other way round - went out to Holland for 2 years so know how what it's like
