There is a thread over on the "Chat" forum, started by Bulletproof West, that went quite well for a year and a half. I think we could use an English version of this thread.

Here is the (loosely) translated version of the text that started it all:

There are enough topics where everyone criticizes each other for everything. Very well, I myself also gladly do that, but what about a space where the reverse happens?

So... relax, get friendly, be interested, give compliments, receive compliments, laugh with each other, be sweet and chill out.

This doesn't make sense? Simply return to another topic that makes sense to you. Just as for clarity. Is simply a place to be nice and does not have to be slimy.

Hmmm.. it's possible, but most trains coming from Amsterdam will stop only @ Rotterdam Central Station. It's easier to find the subway then another train that will stop at Blaak station

Just take the 20:54 from Schiphol (platform 6)

get over at Leiden where you take the 21:18 to Den Haag / Rotterdam (platform 9b)

& get off at Rotterdam Blaak (21:53) (right after Rotterdam Central Station... same train!)

see? no subway needed!

Hmmm... my mistake.. Seems that Blaak is the endstation for that line (and every 30 minutes a train

) , however most trains from leiden are intercities, so they will only stop at the larger stations..

you know, this is *just* like the original thread in Dutch... it took aaaaaaaages before it finally got off of the ground

I guess that's a good sign

maybe it is...but...I'd love to have people talk in here, too. Maybe after you get so un-busy, you could help me out.

Anymoo, last Friday's party was very nice, there were friendly & interested people only, the last DJ (actually, it was 2 together) performed very well, I got a lot of hugs

and the only point on the minus side was that too many ppl stayed at home (mostly cuz they thought it'd be to hot) (which it wasn't) or left early (no idea why)

it's too bad that not so many came and not so many stayed. I would love to have been there.

The music was

, the people were

, the environment was

.. Most likely the other people (who stayed away) were too tired of sunbathing at the beach or getting drunk at a terrace, so not capable to party anymore

I'll definitely have to put one of your parties on my agenda in the near future.
