Hi ..! Let's start with an easy one. How are you doing? And where are you in the world?
We're Arno and Zella, aka DJ MaloMalo and we're a DJ/producer duo from The Hague, The Netherlands.

What's your musical history ? How did you first get into music?
Amsterdam clubs in the early nineties, famous venues such as the Roxy and IT got us into the House music dance and clubbing scene. Music has always been a great passion to both of us, and during our relationship we noticed that we share the same groovy sound and music genres. In 2019 we and started dj-ing together, just for fun, as a shared hobby. Over the years it became a lot more serious and professional. As a DJ couple we don't just share the passion for House music together. It's also about being part of this amazing community that shares the love of House music and likes to celebrate life.

Almost is your gig at Love House? – what inspired you to join on this event?
We met Dennis (Dennis and Xander who organize Love House) at a gig at Loods12 in Amsterdam. We had a good click right away and shared the dj booth later that same night. A few months after, Dennis and Xander invited us to come to their Love House event in Tilburg 🇳🇱. We had a blast! Love House is an awesome concept. An extravagant well organized party with beautiful decorations and good vibes. The crowd is uplifting and fun, so we're looking very much forward to September 12. The MaloMalo sound is a great match for Love House!

Please describe your music style as a DJ?
Our sets don't have one genre in particular. We usually mix different ones, but within our sound. The MaloMalo sound is groovy, underground, a bit raw, full, with here and there an old school touch.

What is the direction of your music? What is your audience age wise and vibe-wise?
Staying close to our sound, no matter if we play House, Progressive House, Melodic House/Techno, Deep House or Afro House. We love to create a warm uplifting flow within our sets. Our audience? Usually people who know quite a lot about music no matter what age. A bit of an underground scene. People that love go to the smaller parties and venues. The kind of parties where people don't hold up their phones for 90% of the time to film everything.

You have been a DJ for how many years? Please tell the readers what to expect from this gig at Love House?
Love House is a one of a kind experience. Amazing location at Manii Beach Club in Zandvoort. Great food and drinks, fun and friendly people and awesome decorations. Everything just fits with this party. You will definitely meet new friends and the music will make you dance all day and night long!

Aside from Love House, please tell us about your plans, upcoming events and DJ gigs.
Since March' 26 we're resident dj's at Amsterdam Most Wanted, at Melodic Fushion. So, once or twice a month on Wednesday evening you can listen to our livestreams from 'the bunker' at NDSM-plein, Amsterdam.
Other upcoming gigs/events in the next 3 months: BRAK, Mengelmoes, The Clinic, NoirX, Brandon, Vroeg Clubben and a couple of private parties.
Other plans: New tracks are in the pipeline as well, but this takes a bit more time since we're quite occupied with gigs and work.
