Biografie
Jonathan is an Urban DeeJay with a passionate look and attitude, his stagename Jonna Alvarez. Since his childhood he had love for music. On his 15th Jonna came into contact with HEAT ON DA BEAT. Together they started to produce music. Quickly Jonna's first gigs followed as a DJ at the pub where he also worked.
After a while he got the opportunity to play at Heerlen's finest Old to the New RnB and Hip-Hop party 'In Effect'. As time passed Jonna Alvarez became a resident Deejay at 'In Effect' and started playing at different venues in the Netherlands like Mixx Events, Solar Festival & rocked abroad at 'In Effect' Bali edition in Indonesia and also in Belgium. This is only the beginning.
Jonna is known for his unique style and sound, which make him immediately recognizable that it's him: 'de Meester' (his well known nickname) behind the decks.The way he mixes dirty south Hip-Hop with an electro Diplo beat, or Oldskool Hip-Hop with Afro House will amaze you every time.
