Biografie
E.G.D stands for the initials of his full name (Eder Gomes Da Luz)
His passion for music began at an early age. At the age of 12 years he starts going to the music academy where he learned to play different instruments. since then music is a part of his life.
His father was a well-known DJ in his country.At the age of 16 he starts helping his father with preparations for his events. Since that time he had the interest to start as a DJ .He started practicing on the equipment of his father and DJing became another passion.
When he started to going out he get the passion and desire to be an professional DJ. His friends stimulate him to discover a brand new world - consisting of mixing tracks and adding unique twists to them. He was inspired by some good Dj friends .
In 2009 he made his first touch with the turntables. With a hunger to learn and a passion for music he locked himself up with his music. When he came out of his cave his first steps into the DJ-world were set.
In 2010 E.G.D started to play at some local parties and events. Trough getting more experiences and learning everyday, his name got bigger and he received some hard working recognition. More opportunities and people of the dj-world came along. Till one day it all started to get serious after participating in a DJ contest in Holland, he began to have bookings.
In 2011 he got his own Radio-show (Urban Touch) on Radio Stad .After that he also set foot into the club-scene and started showing his skills as a DJ in some well-known clubs and events like Club Noxx, Publik, Pure,Hollywood Musichall, Carré ,Catwalk (Barcelona), Opium, El Toro, Eclipse ,...
Today he is one of the owners and resident DJ at CLUB LOTUS ANTWERP (NOXX ANTWERP)
He brings you a mix of Hiphop, RnB, Reggea/Dancehall..with a touch of Disco, World-music and Reggeaton/Latin. Urban keeps evoluting and introduces more styles into the club such as Dubstep, Moombathon, Kuduro...
E.G.D is still full with passion about music, a hunger to learn everyday with the intention to become a famous DJ .
