Biografie
As a DJ and producer living in the city of São Paulo where most of the people just take part of the scene, Paulo Tessuto presents himself as an agent dedicated to improve the musical and cultural scene. He is responsible of producing the Carlos Capslock Party, many videos and fanzines and occupying the public spaces in order to develop people's interaction between them and their city.
His researching skills puts him in touch with modern tunes and the most diverse kind of musical influences and genres. This is what drives his performance through some breaking new feelings and experiences. There is no limit between mixing detroit, berlin techno, micro house or some obscure 70's punk rock sample. The main goal is to shock and awe.
Paulo is also the one in charge of the visual concept and identity of his parties and presentations. His ironic and obscure view on many topics and subjects makes his performances even more unique.
As a cultural producer he took part on many free events in the city of São Paulo. Carlos Capslock party happened on many iconic addresses of the city such as the Minhocão, Buraco da Minhoca, Soichiro Honda Square, Cine Marrocos, Praça Homero Silva and São João Avenue. He also made his contribution on some really important free cultural events such as the Virada Cultural 2012 e 2014, SP na Rua and Todo Domingo at Casa das Caldeiras and all the editions of the SP na Rua 2015 e 2015.
The party also took over some high end electronic clubs in São Paulo such as Trackers, 355, Mezcaleria Lupita (Berlin), Nos Trilhos, Fabriketa, Funilaria among many others and Paulo himself made one Capslock night at Shift, the art gallery of Tresor during the Berlin Atonal Festival in 2013 and played several times in the past 2 years at clubs like: Wilden Renate, Golden Gate, Sisyphos, Chalet, SchwuZ, among many others (Berlin).
Paulo were a collaborator as DJ at Voodoohop party in the early beginning of the movement. He also been playing around the most important parties of Sao Paulo and other states from Brazil. Resident at D-Edge for 5 years (2010 - 2015), Paulo constructed a very solid carrier in the city.
As a producer he brought to Brazil some important international artists such as Isolée, Andy Blake, Pachanga Boys, Alexander Robotnick, Axel Boman, and NOEMA.
As side projects he took Techno to the traditional Brazilian carnival movement (trio elétrico) with the Rivotrio Happening and for two years in a row was responsible for the opening act at the Pop Porn festival from 2013 to 2015.
As a music producer got his tunes recorded by Rainbown Socks and Scandalo Music and now is running a Label beside L_cio and Zopelar called MEMNTGN.
Paulo also played in some of the most respected artistics institutions from Brazil like MIS, CCBB-SP, CCBB-BH, Goethe Institute, Galeria Nacional, among many others and also been responsible for the both parties from the German Exhibition: Zeitgeist - The Art Of The New Berlin (2015) in Brazil.
