Biografie
Noble started his musical career in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. His first experience with drum & bass music took place at Helter Skelter in Milton Keynes '98, where he saw Kenny Ken playing a blinding set, which took off the roof. After taking note of what other dj's were doing behind the decks back in Holland, Noble started having a go at things at the age of 18.
His first break at things came in 2000 when a dj contest was organised in Rotterdam. Noble ended up winning first prize, and his first steps in the Dutch d&b scene were made.
Soon after, Noble was asked to play at parties across the country, from his hometown to Groningen, where he ended up developing friendships with a lot of people. After a while Noble started working at Triple Vision Recordshop, when he got offered a booking to play alongside his first international heroes; Bad Company & Dom & Roland.
Since that day he has played alongside many national and international dj's and Mc's, including: Furney, Ed Rush, Zinc, Grooverider, Krust, DJ Die, Lenzman, Scarr, Silvahfonk, Denny D, Keira, AdiJ, Noisia, Yorobi, Harsh & Pamb, Dreazz, Pressure, MC Dart, MC Dapper, Utreg Massive, and many more.
In 2003, Noble and Denny D had been organising a monthly drum&bass night at the infamous Rotterdam-based Waterfront venue, when they got offered to play at Lowlands festival, Biddinghuizen, amongst many other dj's.
Noble's style can be described as very versatile. He tries to adapt to the atmosphere at a party, and plays a selection that truly goes across the board. From the old intelligent sound to the more raunchy music, he always tries to make the vibe interesting for the people attending the party, keeping the love for musical funky drum&bass.
Since March 2008, Noble has hosted a bi-weekly show at the well respected jungletrain internet radio station, where he continues to bring the sounds of yesterdays classics, as well as some upfront music of today's scene.
Be sure to check him out, on odd weeks at www.jungletrain.net on Mondays from 17.30 to 19.00 CET.
