Biografie
Few artists have conquered the scene as quickly as Arman Cekin has. Hailing from the Netherlands, the avant-garde DJ and producer broke onto the electronic music scene in late 2014 with debut single 'Smooth Waves' and hasn't looked back since.
By 2015, Arman Cekin had reaped tens of millions of streams through a deluge of globally acclaimed remixes and originals, not to mention the high-end bootlegs of Rae Sremmurd's 'This Could Be Us'' and Drake's 'Hotline Bling'. Everyone from the world's most esteemed blogs to A-list acts such as Blasterjaxx, Gareth Emery, Dimitri Vegas and The Chainsmokers subsequently jumped the bandwagon, but Arman's thirst for success was far from quenched.
Diligent as ever, he never once slowed down the surge of scene-defining records, dropping 2016 single 'Run' onto award-winning record label Armada Music while pairing up with Veorra ('You Don't Know Me') and Ellusive and Xuitcasecity ('Show You Off') for two riveting collaborations. His unique style not only earned him the praise he deserved, but also allowed him to join leading booking agency Spin Artist Agency, home to dance music luminaries such as Avicii and Armin van Buuren.
In late 2016, Arman Cekin paired with Paul Rey to unleash the breathtaking 'California Dreaming'. After seeing its original release on Trap Nation's Indie label, the straight-up summer jam was picked up by Warner Music Group and welcomed California native Snoop Dogg as a featuring artist, making it one of the most stand-out and promising hits for 2017.
The 150 million streams across the web, SoundCloud following of 125,000 strong, on-going tour and upcoming collaborations with legendary artists such as Waka Flocka Flame say it all. There's no need to look back when you've got a future that bright.
