Biografie
Post Scriptum's nuclear sounding tracks were unearthed by the 'Sandwell District" co- label owner – Function, who has placed Post Scriptum's tracks on his Berghain 07 Part I (OSTGUT 086EP, 2015). Berghain 07 was an instalment in the series of DJ mixes by the Berlin club's residents, mixed by Infrastructure founder Function. Accompanying the mix were two 12''s (Berghain 07 Part I and Part II (OSTGUT 087EP)), which featured Post Scriptum's "Human Timescales".
Following from the Ostgut appearences, Post Scriptum released a debut album of Millsian disciplines simply called Post Scriptum 01 on Infrastructure New York.
Respected press outlets are hailing his debut as one of the best of the year.
The album featured original photographs by Swiss mixed-media artist Julian Charrière, taken on site at a former Soviet nuclear testing ground. The negatives were first exposed through the camera, and then laid on the radioactive earth where interference occurred resulting in the highly textured end images. Parallels to the process can be drawn throughout Post Scriptum 01, where classic techno sound sources are clear to hear, alongside complex processing and a very original approach to arrangement that flavours and colours each track.
In an impressively short space of time, Post Scriptum has made live performances at Berghain, Audioriver Festival, Tresor, Berlin Atonal, Corsica Studios, Sirius Festival and ADE Festival.
With more shows confirmed for 2016 like Warsaw's 1500m2, London's Fabric, New York's Bunker, or yet another Berghain Live appearance and upcoming tracks on both VA - Infrastructure compilation and solo releases, Post Scriptum's world, full of dystopian overtones will be an absorbing place to really get lost in.
