Dimello Antonio Janssen, born September 9, 1993 in Amsterdam, played
professional basketball in the Netherlands; however, due to an injury he was
forced to stop playing. Music had always been a passion of his but Dimello never
dared to dream that it could become a career. The bittersweet ending of a
potential basketball career led to the monumental beginning of a musical journey.
Drawn to music since childhood and influenced by the legendary sounds of
Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Prince, Dimello began posting YouTube
videos which caught the eye of Soraya Benjelloun, CEO of Benji Entertainment.
Soraya, overwhelmingly enthralled by his performance and potential for mass
appeal, invested in Dimello's pursuit of passion and the development of the next

Traveling between the U.S. and Europe, Dimello is currently working and writing
