Biografie
Telephones sparse, but highly sought after releases on lables like Full Pupp and Sex Tags UFO has not only all sold out in the blink of an eye, but also gained support across the board from the likes of Gerd Janson, Andrew Weatherall, Gatto Fritto, DJ Fett Burger, Axel Boman and Justin Van Der Volgen, as well as praise from FACT Magazine, XLR8R and Vice.
With his strict focus on quality over quantity, Telephones' discography up untill now may be sparse, but he is far from a rookie, with over a decade of experience behind the wheels of steel. In his productions as well as DJ-sets, he ventures in the twilight between organic-equatorial heat and scandinavian-synthetic cold, spinning anything from rough chicago-tracks to fluffy italo-disco, balearic proto-house, discokraut-gymnastics and tropical techno – from the polar circle to deepest Africa.
He is currently at his peak of productivity, after spending years building his new hardware-based set-up and fine-tuning his unique sound. In the coming year several releases, new collaborations and live-projects are lined up.
