Squal Unit

In summer 2008, Squal Unit's founding father "Jaspah', who used to play reggae music on his own back then, decided to host a new overtaking dancehall sound, to provide all reggae fans in Celle with good music.
There have been a lot of changes in the member line up through the years.
Nowadays you can see Squal Unit in a well rehearsed team composed of Selecta "Lennox Louis' and Mc "Luis Linton'.

In 2009, Squal Unit started to promote their first parties in Celle on a regular basis.
Since then, the so called "Simm Simma Saturday' always has been the most successful Dancehall in Celle. Several Sounds have been hosted through out the years like "4TP' from Hanover ( Promoter of the Mofire Festival ), "Irie Ites' ( Reggaelabel from Kassel ) or germany's most famous female juggler "Selectress Mika Raguaa'.

In September 2010, Lenox Louis started to promote Squal Unit's second regular party in Bielefeld called "Drop Beats Not Bombs'. Here, featured Soundsystems have been "The Mighty Pow Pow Movement' from Cologne for several times and "Kalibandulu' from Italy, for the "Three Years Anniversary'.
Also in 2010, Dancer "Laura La Boa' joined Squal Unit and upgraded a lot of shows.
Another style changing element has been the current Mc Luis Linton, who also joined in 2010. He's not just to see in a Squal Unit show, but also as performing artist with the "Tree of Life Band' from Germany.
