Cem Orlow

Cem Orlow started singing in a choir when he was eight years old. This was his first ambition to make music. ( This is where his love for making music began.) In the year 1995 he started to organize his first Drum & Bass/Trip-Hop/Downbeat parties in a club called "Bad Taste". With these unusual sounds he pulled people onto the dance floor. In 1997 he moved to Berlin where he saw himself challenged musically.Later on the Bettini Orlow project (electro acoustic experience) was formed with the great trumpet player Guy Bettini, a project that caused quite a stir in the art-scene. At the same time he worked with Dj Saiba to bring into life a series of events called Blue Jet where they brought some of the top Drum & Bass Djs (Current Value/Nicky Blackmarket) together. In 2002 Cem Orlow discovered the sound of Techno and House which gave him more peace to develop his own distinctive style which he showed at the "Club Deli" in front of 500 People. He played in some of the biggest clubs in Berlin like the Ostgut, Maria and the Tresor as well as in several other clubs around Europe (Poland/Swiss/Austria/Italy/Turkey). Also he created a radioshow for the cult promising station Twen Fm. The first milestones on his path that led to playing with big names such as Andre Galluzi, Daniel Wang, Peter Grummich, P.hono, Frankman, C-Rock, Losoul, Zip, Romina Cohen, Yapacc, Bloody Mary, Alex Reese, Wax Doctor, Digital and many more. At the moment he is concentrating on working on his own tracks. Many years of experience, an open mind and a great hearing have given him a deep knowledge of music which promises a very rich and deep sound
