Biografie
DJ Erik Sherman, born as Erik van Suchtelen van de Haare in Switzerland in November 1985. At young age Erik Sherman was already fascinated by music and the decisive role dj's have at party's.
Determined to be a successful dj of his own he got dj-lessons from other dj's with much more experience. Within a few years Erik Sherman became the resident dj of club Fox in Stadskanaal, which received an award for Best Club in Holland in 2012 (source: Nightlife Awards).
In 2011 Erik Sherman participated at a dj-battle at Paradiso, Amsterdam. Competing with lot's of dj's/turntablelists, from "the west"(of holland
), Erik Sherman brought his unique way of spinning to Amsterdam. With an urban/eclectic set, Erik Sherman won this competition in Amsterdam and from then he knew he could measure himself with "the big guys"!
Erik Sherman is the founder of "Partymachen". "Partymachen" is the most popular way of making a party in his birth country. As long as possible, as happy as possible with the newest music mixed with oldskool classics. With a mix of house, urban & eclectic, Erik Sherman is responsible for "Partymachen" in every club where he spins. Erik Sherman served as a warm up-dj for worlds most famous acts as: Ja Rule
, Quintino, Sidney Samson, The Partysquad, Yellow Claw, Justin Prime, Dyna, Ralvero and many more…
Next to DJ Erik Shermans solo gigs, he also dj's with Us. Us is an urban/pop-act with two mc's and a dancer (poppin' & lockin') who are also known as: Spikey Spike, Maddy Madpac & Tresor. Us supported many big acts in the Netherlands as: The opposites, Gers Pardoel, Flinke Namen, Dio etc etc…
