Bazen & Helden is an electro formation consisting of Sjoerd Huissoon and Tim van Doorne. Hailing from The Hague, these two discovered their love for electro and never looked back. Determined to destroy any venue they play at, Bazen & Helden practically force you to dance, making sure conversation is impossible while throwing face-crunching beats and mind-shattering riffs at your eardrums. 2011 was a big year for Bazen & Helden. Their first official release 'Samoza' was launched on Basserk Records in Amsterdam, with regular performances at the label's own event, Bibber+, and a gig at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). This year also brought them their first music video in collaboration with Canadian video-production company 'PO-MO' for the track 'Le Dernier Soir'. It was also featured twice on the world-famous 'Radio 538: Dance Department' podcast by Dennis Ruyer after a rave review by Sander Kleinenberg in an interview by the same show. Lastly, 2011 also marked Bazen & Helden's first steps on the international scene after receiving their first overseas bookings. In short, Bazen en Helden are an electro powerhouse dead set on throwing nothing but the best sounds at whoever's listening, with an attitude very few can resist.
