Biografie
Godfatha Sounds, the most dynamic eclectic/urban/dancehall DJ sound in the Netherlands, was formed on August 5th 2006, when Femi "DJ Arsenic" Badejo and Damien "Da Truth" Schmidt decided to start up a DJ crew together, that would take part in various DJ 'battles'- small scale competitions - to hone their DJ skills and bring something unique to the DJ scene in the Netherlands. However, over the past four years, they have evolved and are known for providing fans with an entertaining and energetic style of combining different music genres together while maintaining a concert style experience for party goers. The love for all music and unique combinations as well as their passion to perfect their craft, has meant that Godfatha Sounds quickly developed the reputation of being the #1 party sound in the Netherlands. Their goal is to bring the same positive energy, excitement, creativity, and performances to all our parties and events worldwide.
Through the years, this dynamic sound has gone through some changes to find the perfect formula to maintain its reputation. Femi "DJ Arsenic" Badejo, one of the founders is still an active member with Franklyn "DJ Fiber" Rivers, who joined in 2007. Damien "Da Truth" Schmidt, the group's former MC is no longer active with group although on occasion supports the group and local events. This unique duo combination has allowed for Godfatha Sounds to flourish at a rate that is unheard of in the Netherlands.

Femi Badejo was born and raised on Sint Maarten and started DJ-ing 6 years ago at small house parties. In 2006, together with co-founder and former member Damien Schmidt, he formed Godfatha Sounds. Through the mentorship of Dj Vicious, Dj Arsenic was able to quickly grasp and form his own energetic club style and continuously pushed his skills to higher heights. He is the business mind behind the group and has a vision to create unforgettable experiences for party goers every time he DJ's. He specializes in the combination of music particularly when it is hip-hop and R&B related. However, his love for music allows him to combine all kinds of music from house to dancehall. He also serves as the MC of the group when needed. DJ-ing balances this software network specialist by providing the outlet for creativity to blossom.
ABOUT Franklyn "DJ Fiber" Rivers
Franklyn "DJ Fiber" Rivers, was born and raised on St. Eustatius. His love for music and creative mind made him a valuable addition to the group in 2007. He is the creative genius that is relentless in perfecting his craft. He specializes in the Caribbean sound of the group and is known to create amazing combinations under this umbrella genre of music. Soca and dancehall, salsa and zouk, all are just tools for him to create a truly unforgettable experience.
Their keen awareness of each other's abilities, insight to energetically create an atmosphere of fun and bliss, and uniquely creative ideas allows for a continuum of unexpected and spontaneous remixes that they are known for and is seldom seen.
Thus they have had the pleasure of playing for some of the Netherlands top events and venues, such as Powerzone in Amsterdam and Tivoli in Utrecht as well as other locations overseas, which also includes Bliss Nightclub in Sint Maarten.
