Biografie
The first party Mark Groot visited was Defqon.1 Festival in 2006. Since then he didn't stop partying anymore. More and more he started to imagine how it would be if he made those people go crazy on the music he loves. This dreaming continued till early 2010, when he bought CD players and a mixer.
A few months later GEMS played on a party for the first time! Quickly after this party they got contacted by Penoze and they got the chance to express themselves as talents on their parties. GEMS got a lot of bookings in their region and a few outside it (Obsession Outdoor Festival 2011).
Mark loves to share his passion for the music with the audience. With energetic sets and a great combination of 'raw' and 'melodic' tracks he let people enjoy the music just as much as he does!
