Biografie
Christian "C-Rock" Rindermann has been one of the driving forces of the Frankfurt music scene since the 80s, and when something stirs in it you can be sure he's there to contribute passion, imagination and enthusiasm. With DJ Yannick he founded the first German underground house magazine "SiZE!"; with Ricardo Villalobos he organized in the middle of the 90s legendary parties with illustrious guests like Chez Damier, John Acquaviva, Carl Craig or David Alvarado; he held residencies in Frankfurt clubs like the "Box", "Monza" or Cocoonclub – to name only a few of his ventures.
Even though his life as a DJ sends him around the globe to places like Santiago de Chile, Barcelona, Chicago, Sao Paolo or Cape Town, he doesn't want to limit himself to a life as a DJ. He's been managing for years his three labels Stir15 Recordings, LoFi Stereo and Release Music, he works as an advisor for the Red Bull Music Academy and he contributed technical know-how to the development of two new mixers launched by Ecler Audio Barcelona. C-Rock's first album "Track&Feel" (Stir15) is still considered one of the milestones of the German New School house and his proactive nature has led to studio collaborations with musicians like Sven Väth, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Pier Bucci, Russ Gabriel, Richard Davis or Swayzak.
In addition to his own productions he did remixes for Phonique & Erlend Oye, Abdulla Ibrahim or Blaze and has projects like "Further" with Neville Attree or "Motorcitysoul" with Matthias Vogt. With the latter he produced the 2006 hit "Mbali" and the remix of Jimpster's "Aura" (both on Stir15). Since september 2007 he and Matthias Vogt have been the hosts for a regular event at Cocoonclub called "Our House". New projects are surely in the making. For a music activist like C-Rock, standstill is not an option.
