Gumnaam

Originally from the Netherlands but now based in the South of London is a riding high in a new wave of Dubstep, Drum & Bass, and bass heavy produc- ers. With a fiercely independent ethos he has been putting out vinyl releases on his own Riddim & Culture Recordings record label – ensuring he stays true to his unique dub/desi sound. With a major buzz around all his productions to date, Gumnaam has had tracks regularly featured on BBC Radio1 and all his EPs have topped the Blackmarket Re- cords (Soho) charts.

A recent tune 'Blow My Mind' was featured as the opening track on the Ministry of Sound's 'Adven- tures in Dubstep and Beyond 2' compilation, and DJ's across the world have been keen to include his tracks in their mixes. Gumnaam delivers re-mixes for Dutch artists Odeke, E1Ten & Maikal X.

Alongside his own productions Gumnaam has been creating the music for Naba Napalm's new album 'The Love Bullet'.
On the live front, Gumnaam has performed at nights and festivals alongside such names as Loefah, Chase & Status, Sabre, Chef and Cotti, as well as headlining nights in Holland and the UK and receives frequent support on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra & BBC Asian Network
In 2013 an EP and various projects are planned.
