Biografie
Jörg Smit aka "The Bassrider" was born in 1986 in Coesfeld / Germany. Even as a child he was fascinated by electronic music. The first CD he had in childhood was "U96 - Das Boot," which appeared in 1991, so it went then. As the techno / rave scene just at that time developed world, there were more and more new varieties and styles. Through its Dutch roots and its relatives in the Netherlands has called on Jörg Hardcore, Gabber attention at that time. It was not long before he recorded his first CD Purchased (Thunderdome) bought. Even then it quickly became clear to him should be the hardcore not just a brief flirtation! Jörg came in 1999 for the first time by a colleague in touch with turntables and started his first attempts!
In 2000, he then lay down on his first equipment and started a vinyl collection! With the passing of time has been getting better and mixing the used equipment replaced by a new one! As Jörg all the time always a lot of contacts and friends to Dj's and had organizers in the hardcore scene in 2004 he got his first gig at a club party.The set he had beat the excitement a little while but his commitment and passion, he was quickly brought many new bookings on large and small events at home and abroad. 2006 he organized his first small club party alone which he also laid the foundation for his future career (event manager) systems.
To the end of 2007, he then began with the first own productions. It took some time to deal with the matter, to experiment and develop your own style! Gradually, thus were the first professional tracks. However, it took a long time until he presented his things to the public because he is his biggest critic to this day.
The popularity enjoyed tracks are gradually becoming more and more! Thus came the first releases, remixes and free tracks!
At this point I would like to have again explicitly thank all who supported me on my way so far, supports and supported!
In the moment I work on my live act and new releases. Also for the future is no end in sight and many projects in the pipeline ...
