Antoos

Antoos has been interested in music since he was very young - at the age of 6 he was playing around with his parents' cassette and vinyl player. His musical style couldn't be categorized those days, but later he was caught up by the new wave including U2, Mike Oldfield, Jean Michel Jarre, Depeche Mode, Faithless, BBE...

When he was 14 he managed to buy his own turntable, and started to buy discs. He had an opportunity to play in club Május Kert in Csepel, Budapest where he played the biggest hits of the time with DJ Cobra 3 times a week. Later he met DJ Luyi who was the resident of Küklopsz Club in Szigetszentmiklós. Here Antoos had an insight to the life of a mega club. Something has begun that is still chaining him to music.

Antoos has always been seeking new things and wanted to show path to those who wanted to party. Trance has become his main style when in 1998 he heard Energy 52's 'Café del Mar'. If he wouldn't have been certain about his decision, he heard a track that is still an anthem of today's party people. This track is 'Three Drive On A Vinyl - Greece 2000'. There is no doubt about that his style was heavily influenced by these two masterpieces. He's got to know
the works of Paul Oakenfold, Tiësto and Armin van Buuren. He's found his own style and since then he's still developing it to become one of the Hungarian scene's most versatile DJs.

In 2002 he started the party series called 'Light In The Night', and he played in a lot of clubs and open-air parties. Later Tebron has joined him who has become his good friend. They complement each other as musicians and they have made many parties in the country. Antoos has been the resident of quite many places where he played trance which wasn't popular at the time. He's thankful to 'Soundbreeders Productions' that gave him the opportunity of playing in the famous party series 'Synergy'.

In 2007 he and Tebron had the brave idea of starting a new party series with the name of the radio show 'Sound of Cream'. The standards of these parties were later raised as famous DJs from all over the world also appeared. As a result, he had the opportunity to play alongside the likes of Leon Bolier, Menno de Jong, Cliff Coenraad or Re-Ward. The series had such a great success that they had to move to a bigger club, so Antoos and Sound of Cream (that is playing a main role in the Hungarian night life by now) had a new home in a club of the highest standards, Tabu Lounge Music Club.

With Tebron, they had the chance to play in other countries, too. In Bratislava he played in front of a full house in the famous Dopler Club. It was a great expierence for the audience to hear the Hungarian DJs. After Slovakia, he showed his talent in Germany too, he played in Stuttgart to be exact.

Antoos makes the crowd go crazy with his unique style, even those have a great time who didn't like this kind of music before. His sets have a lot of energy, intense beats, light melodies and also soft vocals. He quickly catches up with the audience, as he plays everything else seems to disappear, and when the magic is over, people take a little bit of this special sounding with themselves.

In February 2008, as a result of a collaboration with Mark Faith, a remix of U2's 'New Day' was created. He's still playing it during his parties, and he also continues producing music.

Since 2010 he's been having the opportunity to play at Hungary's biggest electronic music complex, the Hajógyári Island, where he's continously demonstrating his skills to the delight of his many fans. He has played in clubs like Coro Café, Dokk, Up! The Club, Coronita and Prestige.

He has played alongside superstars like Armin van Buuren, ATB and Markus Schulz in Café del Rio at the Rio Summer Fest.

Seeking a new challenge, in 2011 he exited Sound of Cream. From September 2011 he started his own party series with Tebron which is called 'Pulsation'. Here he can completely show off his skills, so even more fans can get to know him and his taste in music.

In April 2012 he was asked by the guys of Sound of Cream to re-join them. He instantly accepted their request of course, so he became the member of Sound of Cream again. Of course he remains the member of Pulsation too, that takes place in the disco complex of Hajógyári Island.
