J Majik. One of drum and bass' all time favourite producers is back and with plenty of monster movements currently in motion, it's looking to be a strong year ahead of him. Moving forward from his well recognised tracks 'Crazy World' with Wickaman in 2007, 'Your Sound' and 'Love is not a Game' in 2000; J is back with his freshest, smoothest sounding material.

Looking forward to his Viper Recordings release in October, J teams up with the talented Cammie Robinson on 'Give it up'. Cammie has also recently featured on the new Flux Pavillion Single "Pull The Trigger" to deliver what is set to be one of the biggest dancefloor vocal slices of 2017.

Alongside his Viper Recordings release, J has been delving deep in the studio collaborating with The Prototypes on Get Hype Records. As label owner of Infrared Records, J had the pleasure of releasing The Prototypes first ever release "Cascade". J let it slip to the boys that he was going to start making some music again which lead them to asking if he would make a single for their new label. After spending some time in the studio together the result is very exciting."Rock n Roll" will be released as a single JMajik Vs The Prototypes track at the end of 2017. The Prototypes boys have also signed a new track 'Modify Bass' from J which is to be released early 2018.

Not only is J smashing out the independent productions and collabs, he will be the first Drum and Bass artist to officially remix Rihanna as he's let loose on "Desperado", giving it an authentic, DnB spin. The opportunity came due to J sharing the same management as House superstar Marc Kinchen . Marc had been asked to do a remix so after getting his hands on the parts, the rest is history. The remix will be officially released in early 2018.

Moving forwards with an old friend, J collaborates with Adam F on "Pressure" ft Kathy Brown which will be released by Bassrush Recordings. J teams up with the drum and bass legend on the famous Massive Bassrush label who are the team behind Insomniak Events in USA, some of the largest DnB events in the world for over 15 years.

Not only is he releasing on the likes of Viper and Get Hype Records; Metalheadz released the long awaited 'Your sound' 2017 re-edit in July, Viper released 'Reptile' ft. DJ Jonay on their Bassrush 2.0 Album in August and Defected Records re-released Jamie's 2002 Classic Love is Not a Game ft the legendary Soul diva Kathy Brown remixed by Full Intention. The track hit No.1 on Beatport in the House chart for 2 weeks running.

His remix of "Sundown" By KC Lights coming out on Danny Howards' label Nothing Else Matters is set to blow up in mid September. The remix was recently played 4 weeks in a row by Friction on BBC Radio 1 and has already been compared to the classic remix of Space invader by J Majik which changed the shape of the music in early 2002.
