Micha Deutz

It was love at the first sight, when Micha Deutz listened to his first techno vinyl in the early 90s. 10 years later, when he was 18 years old, he started working in clubs as a DJ around his hometown Cologne. Influenced by his parents and their love to funk/dance music he started to try out how interesting it can be to take some classic vinyl tunes and sample them into a DAW. With his own produced drum and percussion loops he forms his very unique sound. After hard work on some remixes for a friend, in 2012 he released his first EP on Aquasound Records. Soon he got support from all over the world.

He started to travel in his environment: Düsseldorf, Cologne, Neuss and many more cities were impressed by his sound.

In his hometown he got a residence place: the local location called "Monberg", a little sister of Kiesgrube in Neuss, where big names like Sven Väth, Hot since 82 or Loco Dice already played.

After a break he started again working on a new EP for Studio3000 Records, who's label owners Jens Lissat & Marc Fisher were impressed of the unique tunes. In 2015 "Disco Pants" became featured on Beatports genre Tech House and entered the Top 100 charts.
