Jecht

For Jecht, he was never a stranger to music. Due to his father's career as the lead singer of Society of Seven, he was always surrounded by different genres and could always be seen sporting headphones and CD's. His passion and DJ career for EDM music, however, was something that snuck up on him slowly. As most people experience growing up, Jecht didn't know what he specifically wanted in life but eventually, he combined his two favorite interests: music and helping people. Falling into the EDM scene as a DJ and not only being able to spin his favorite beats, but to also see the joy of people's faces on the dancefloor has been his main motivation to not only to keep playing, but to also progress. From first playing at small weddings to gaining residency at Upstairs, a club in Waikiki, Jecht has evolved from a "newbie" to a DJ who everyone is now used to seeing on set lists. Jecht currently is the resident DJ under Rave Rock and Kinetic Entertainment and has played at various clubs including the ever-popular Vice Nightclub and Ginza. He hopes that in the future, he can continue to learn and adapt to different genres and techniques, perform around the world, and produce his own music. It is clear that Jecht has found his true passion in life.
