Biografie
Giulio Lofari a.k.a. J-LOF (Lecce,06/01/1992) is a Dj/selectah from Salento(Puglia-Italy).
His selection makes feels the Dancehall vibes mixed with Roots/Reggae and Hip Hop.
His first approach with playing music has been in 2006 with Rotella (IllegalMeeting) and Vito (StartEvents), they started to create a collective called DOUBLE SOUND: a crew united by the passion for the Reggae and HipHop music. This was defenitely the time for J-LOF to know the DJing's world and in 2008,with DoubleSound, he started to organize the first party and Dancehall.
In 2014 the little collective broke up, but suddenly J-LOF and Vito (in true friendship) have met MilitantDandy (really popular in Lecce University) and the three together formed an event management agency called START EVENTS.
StartEvents is now working together with international artists. This family actually have 7 members: Vito, J-lof, MilitantDandy, CelestinoHiFi (addi veteran), Giusto, Carmen Ruggeri and Alessandro Varratta.
In this years J-LOF bring his vibes in the most beautiful "Yards" of Salento in the sunny south of Italy, places like Mamanera, Babilonia, Exit101, IstanbulCafè ecc.. with the partecipation of many amazing artists like GeneralLevy, DiGenius, Mr.Lexx, BayC(TOK), TerronFabio (SudSoundSystem), Stickybuds and important "Sounds" such as HeavyHammer, Kalibandulu, YardBeat, I-Shence e NorthernLights.
