Biografie
London-based pop star Rothwell has been hotly tipped by the likes of CLASH, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1Xtra, F Word Magazine, 1883 Magazine, The Sun and Metro. Her current CV includes a Spotify UK Viral Chart hit (Velvet Heart), writing credits on Metrik's Top 10 drum & bass anthem "We Got It", collaborations with Kideko (Tinie Tempah, Nadia Rose, Becky G), Toyboy & Robin, and support slots on Justin Bieber's 'Purpose World Tour', as well as opening for Boyzone at Kew The Music and Louise Redknapp at her recent show at London's prestigious Scala.
She may only be 23 years old but the Bristol-born singer-songwriter wrote her first song at the age of 12, taught herself guitar and supported herself financially with a string of jobs before enrolling into the College of Music in Leeds. Rothwell uploaded her vocals to YouTube and captured the attention of London's infamous jazz club Ronnie Scott's who immediately slid into her DM's. She has since gone on to play packed out shows at The Garage, Isle of Wight Festival, Latitude Festival, British Summer Time and Kew The Music.
